1. YOU ARE TIRED
Among adults, tiredness is a typical condition. There’s stress, heavy working hours, lack of sleep, unhealthy diet, and no exercise at all.
To help you lessen the feeling of tiredness, you should get a good quality sleep at night, eat a healthy balanced diet and try to make time for exercise.
2. YOU ARE OVERWHELMED
You are overwhelmed when there are just so much to do, so little time and there’s just you. The clock is ticking, and you are freaking out. This can either be at home or at work.
First, you need to breathe. If that doesn’t work for you, take a walk to get rid of the cobwebs in your mind. Sometimes we tend to do everything at once. Slow down and give yourself a break. Sometimes, just by decluttering your desk helps too. Do not be afraid to ask for help. Even wonder woman needs a sidekick too from time to time. Also, talking to someone out loud about it will help you clear your mind.
3. YOU ARE AFRAID
Negativity makes you scared. There’s just this feeling that you get that everything won’t turn out as planned. That you are not good enough. That things will get difficult and ugly, so you end up beating yourself. You end up unproductive and emotionally drained. Another day wasted.
It’s a cliché to say but think positive! Do not think about it too much. Chill! Occupy yourself with other important things you need to do. If things happen not the way you want it, so be it! There are lessons you can learn in every kind of situation. Assess it, and you’ll reap strategies to succeed the next time. Do not give up though.
4. YOU ARE HURTING
You are hurting, and you need time. There will be a point in our lives that we’ll feel grief and sadness.
It’s okay not to be okay sometimes but don’t let things get into you deeply. Don’t let it drag you down, stifle your energy, drain your spark and passion for life.
5. YOU ARE UNINSPIRED
You feel uninspired. So, as a result, you’re late for work, the dish piles up, you procrastinate. You focus on what’s wrong instead of what is right. You make excuses for everything and blame the weather.
Talk yourself into setting and creating goals that will inspire you to do more, become more and have more. Write them down. Post them on the refrigerator, on the door or frame them. Try to listen to music to change your mood. If you have kids, play with them or go for a run.
6. YOU ARE FEELING STUCK
You feel like Belle, where every morning is just the same, and you wonder if there’s more than this provincial life. It’s like you are waiting for something magical to arrive. You walk in a circle and fall in a limbo. Everything is a routine you can memorize even if your eyes are closed.
You, feeling stuck could mean it’s time to make a change – of heart, in your perspective or your habits. Break your routine and do something new. Change is not easy, in fact, it’s going to be painful, but it’s going to be all worth it. Do it one step at a time.
Sometimes, the person holding you back is You. Choose to feel good about yourself and the world.
Learn to count and appreciate your blessings.
